Accessibility Statement

Rise, an initiative of Schmidt Futures and the Rhodes Trust, is committed to making our website and application pathways (the “Services”) as accessible as possible to users with and others with additional needs, including users with visual, hearing, cognitive and motor impairments. While we strive to provide accessibility and usability for users, it may not be possible in all areas of the website with current technology and other restrictions. If you experience any accessibility issues, please contact us to let us know.

Our app is designed to work all over the planet, so as many people as possible can apply. However, if you are unable to access a mobile device that can download the app, you can use WhatsApp to access a different application pathway. That option can be explored here. We’re also distributing paper applications on an as needed basis. Contact us to inquire about this option.

We are committed to ensuring that our Services follow best accessibility practices by following the principles of universal design. This ensures the site is flexible and adaptable to different users’ needs or preferences and is accessible through a variety of different technologies, including mobile devices or assistive technologies. This is a work in progress, and we will be constantly learning and improving in our inaugural year.

LINKS TO THIRD-PARTY CONTENT

On our Services, we may link to third-party websites (such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) and may include or use embedded third-party content to share information or promotional content.  We cannot control or correct problems with these third-party websites. You may also want to address your concerns directly to these third parties.
