Events Assistant
Tanisha Aswal is the Events Assistant at Rhodes House in Oxford, England, supporting the 2025 Rise Residential Summit. She graduated from Somerville College, Oxford with a Master’s in Modern South Asian Studies in 2024. Prior to this, Tanisha studied English Literature at the University of Delhi.
Tanisha's interest in working with scholarship organisations and higher education administration started with Oxbridge Summer School in Peterhouse College, Cambridge where she worked as a Program Assistant, providing mentorship and support to a cohort of 112 international students and supplying the program with administrative and logistical support.
Tanisha loves reading about South Asian history and culture, and is always looking for an opportunity to deepen her understanding of its politics and people. In her spare time, she loves to paint and go for long relaxing walks.
