Rise Global Winner 2023

Elnar is an avid student and the first Kazakhstani to win the International History Olympiad medal. In the 7th grade, he and his friends created a startup to produce vegan snacks. The initiative attracted significant investments and was recognized by Forbes. In an attempt to improve the level of design in his home country, Elnar created a design studio that has since created logos for several major cities and received recognition from the Minister of Ecology of Kazakhstan. His Rise project is a green drainage innovation that applies the principle of the water cycle in nature to mitigate the risk of urban flooding and protect water resources from contamination caused by polluted road runoff. In the future, Elnar hopes to build such installations across cities globally.
