Israa is passionate about the ways in which she can help her community and people worldwide. A polyglot and aspiring scientist, she believes in the power of science and scientific discovery to improve people’s lives. For her Rise project, Israa created a device that would help prevent car accidents by using electromagnetics and sensors to capture the speed of approaching cars. Israa has participated in the International Science and Engineering Fair six times.
