Lydia is interested in the automation of beneficial research and operations, which requires making AI systems safe, robust, and reliable. She studies Mathematics and Philosophy at the University of Oxford. For her Rise project, she convinced her United World College to replace ineffective single-use plastic masks with effective reusable models during the COVID-19 pandemic and reported her project through poetry.
