Visal is a passionate Cambodian debater, geek, and student. He will be attending MIT in September 2022 and hopes to gather the knowledge required to bring artificial intelligence research to Cambodia. For his Rise project, Visal gathered data about traffic accidents within his community and predicted traffic hotspots using a machine learning algorithm. With his relentless curiosity, Visal hopes to one day help in the solving of climate change with innovative technology.
