Rise Fellow 2023

Benji is driven by the goal of harnessing technology and computer science to solve real-world problems. He is an advocate for inspiring young minds to explore the possibilities of STEM and took the initiative to establish a robotics club that caters to local primary school children. Benji is the head of his school’s award-winning robotics team, a participant in the European AstroPi challenge, and a co-writer of the book “3D Printing for Everyone.” For his Rise project, he created a low-cost robotics kit to reduce the financial barriers impeding STEM education for students.
