Laura Estepa Alvira

Laura is a Colombian student passionate about technology, education, and sustainability. She was accepted to a U.S. university to study computer science and wants to inspire more Colombian students who wish to study abroad to achieve this goal. Having created a project to teach English to underprivileged children in Latin America, she believes in the power of education and the opportunities it gives. Her Rise project was an application to find and add recycling points in cities to reduce pollution.
