Harsh has found his calling in helping patients with pancreatic cancer. Notoriously difficult to detect early, the cancer currently has a survival rate below 7 percent. To help with early detection, Harsh co-founded Cancer-Ex — a biotech startup developing a low-cost non-invasive test to detect gastrointestinal cancers, which was also his Rise project. In 2020, Harsh and his co-founder received the Bal Shakti Puraskar prize for innovation — the highest honor bestowed upon Indians under the age of 18 by the country's Prime Minister.
